Tom Hagerman is a Denver based musician, arranger, educator and composer best known for his multi-instrumentalist role in the Grammy nominated rock band, Devotchka. He has written, recorded or arranged music for many artists and arts organizations including Eric Bachman, Calexico, Neko Case, Sage Francis, Al Green, She and Him, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bettye Lavette, Amos Lee, Lettuce, The Flaming Lips, The Lumineers, Ingrid Michaelson, Opiuo, Pretty Lights, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Colorado Symphony, The Tucson Symphony, The Wyoming Symphony, Trampled By Turtles, M. Ward, Wonderbound, and The Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Tom has released recordings both under his own name and Post Truth Serum and is a member of The Grande Orquesta Navarre, an eclectic, collaborative chamber music ensemble. He is co-founder of The PlainsSong Project, a versatile custom ensemble curator designed to create unique performances, recordings and collaborations with any and all artists. Tom is a graduate of the music school at the University of Colorado in violin performance, and is a product of music education in public schools.
